Recently, a India-based food processing company, also one of the leading industry players, announced its expansion plan. They plan to open more dine-in restaurants and retail outlets in various parts of the country by 2024.

It meant they had to simplify their business operations and make them more efficient. They wanted to ensure that the different departments could manage the daily operations related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory analysis, etc., and complete their tasks faster and more accurately.

Given the scale of the project, they needed a trustworthy technology partner who could transform their business and build an ecosystem that could streamline their operations.

This meant that we had to work on stringent timelines and processes to achieve the goal. We used our SAP S/4 HANA capabilities and deployed a dedicated SAP S/4 HANA team to rollout a plant each month. We also offered overall management support to ensure high-quality delivery and successful transformation.
AMS support: Apart from delivering rollouts every month, we also provided Application Management Services (AMS) support to the client to help them manage their day-to-day operations, overall delivery, and governance. We started off with minimal L1 and L2 support. However, as we built more trust and demonstrated our delivery capabilities, we started providing more advanced L3 support. We were able to implement the best practices, reduce costs, and automate the support processes.
Fiori Application: Business expansion is never simple, and managing so many entities and systems can be quite a Herculean task! Our experience working with retailers has shown us that a 360-degree business view is crucial for carrying out operations efficiently. SAP S/4 HANA Fiori provides 400 role-based Fiori apps that are ideal for HR, accounting, manufacturing, sales and marketing, etc. Fiori apps can manage everything from creating and tracking sales orders to managing inventories. That’s why we implemented it to provide a better user experience to the company employees. The company’s employees can now manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, sales revenue, and much more with the help of Fiori apps. We gave the company a walkthrough of how it works to help them adapt quickly.
